OSSC's library is a rich resource for anyone interested in orchids, be they an orchid novice or an experienced grower. The following table summarizes the current holdings of the OSSC Library:

In addition, the Library contains over 1450 periodicals (ranging in date back to 1942) and other useful items like a light meter and horticultural color chart.  The books range from "beginner" level overviews to comprehensive examinations of orchid genera and their cultivation.  More books will be purchased for the library this year.  And, of course, donations to the library are gladly accepted.

Use of the library is open to any member of the society in good standing, and items must be checked out through the society's Librarian.  The rules governing check out and use of library materials are found here.
